Together, with diverse fields of study surrounding watersheds such as agricultural Science, botany, ecology, plant ecology, animal ecology, geology, biologists, natural science, entomology, hydrobiology, biology, microbiology, histology, ecology, plant geography and even philosophy. We can come together to connect, learn, embrace theories and discuss contributions to the natural ecosystems with great organizations that are at the forefront to honor the father of limonology; François-Alphonse Forel ‘s and his vision, share knowledge and create new technological solutions. as well as others such as Raymond Lindeman of New Haven, CT, Eugene Odum of Newport, NH, F. Herbert Bormann,… Together, we can protect the wildlife in our lakes and rivers as well as the wellness of the lakes and rivers themselves by developing awareness. With this in mind, we are looking for your participation and for your knowledge and support the science and the Friends of Lake Warner and Mill River endeavors

Since March 2015 we became a 501c3, non-profit business entity…. The Friends of Lake Warner & The Mill River is community-based group which is dedicated to restoring and maintaining Lake Warner in Hadley, MA. We are located at 83 Rocky Hill Road, Hadley, MA. https://friendsoflakewarner.org/

The Friends of Lake Warner and the Mill River are a non-profit corporation registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We are dedicated to the preservation, improvement and responsible use of the Mill River and Lake Warner in Hadley, Massachusetts.

Innovation Contest Criteria
Where innovation meets the Harmonious Natural and Built Environments
The Friends of Lake Warner and Mill River assign teams if you are not on one already. The virtual communication tool links will be listed in your registration packet
Pitch sessions are from 10:00-11:00 on Friday Morning where we present problem statements and ideas, introductions and Q&A session. See schedule tab for more details.
During the Innovation Session participants will have approximately 16 hours to develop a prototype or proof of concept. The final product is a ten minute recorded power point presentation or YouTube Video.
Two sessions of mentor meetings are required.
Prizes will be given to the top four teams and class credit from select courses.
